The Red Lion Burnsall

Well it's that time of the year again the and Thompson Christmas outing is almost upon us. After a unanimous vote, it was decided to reprise our now famous full day Dales outings with an overnight stay.

This year we decided to go back to The Red Lion as we have so many new people and we thought it'd be a great experience for the newbies. The Red Lion is situated in Burnsall in lower Wharfedale, about an hour from Leeds and right smack in the heart of some of the loveliest scenery in the dales. A great place with roaring log fires and fabulous food, it's the perfect base for an office excursion. 

The day will start with bacon sandwiches in the office, a jolly coach trip up to the dales, a bracing walk along the river to Grassington, sitting around a log fire singing songs and secret santa-ing followed by a few beers and dinner. A full report to follow...
