It was handbags at noon at Thompson HQ when the charming Dr Craig from Primley dropped in these GORGEOUS flowers from Daisy Chain this afternoon, as a thank you for some work we did recently. It's fair to say such an unexpected act of kindness went down very well indeed - thank you Dr Craig!!
So why so much aggro from such lovely flowers? Well, despite clear instructions that they were for EVERYBODY in the office to enjoy, reigning Office Diva CALVERT tried her very best to sneak these beautiful blooms through the door, with mutterings of "...look gorgeous on t' mantelpiece..." and "can't find a vase anyway...".
Naturally, reigning Office Good Vibes Rachel arranged the flowers into a beautifully polished vase and displayed them for ALL to see. And then blogged about it very smugly after Diva's departure. In full knowledge that she may have won today's battle but that the war will rage on tomorrow morning.
